About this deal

Where you put your monitor is almost as important as what model you buy. The monitor should be directly in front of you, at an arm’s length away (between 20-40 inches from your eyes). The top edge of the screen at eye level when you are sitting comfortably. You may need to adjust your chair height or the height of the monitor to achieve this. With the Super Fast mode, there’s no noticeable ghosting or overshoot, allowing you to enjoy fast-paced content without any visual artifacts. At its discounted price, the Dell S2522HG is the best budget 240Hz gaming monitor for competitive players. Specifications Screen Size Before you rotate the display, ensure it is completely extended vertically and completely tilted up to avoid hitting the bottom edge of the monitor. The MAG has a nicely balanced overdrive, supposedly even with scaling voltage with VRR without having a Gsync module.

Note: 1 ms is achievable in Extreme mode to reduce visible motion blur and increased image responsiveness. However this may introduce some slight and noticeable visual artifacts into the image. As every system setup and every gamer's needs are different, we recommend that users experiment with the different modes to find the setting that is right for them. A few permanently bright or dark pixels are considered normal by industry standards. The exact number of pixels that are allowed varies depending on the monitor. Refer to Dell Monitor Quality and Pixel Policy for more details. If the monitor doesn't sense a video signal and is working correctly, it should report a message advising no video cable detected:

The bump in refresh rate from 240hz is not a big improvement, it does feel smoother and latency feels about the same if not slightly better compared to the Asus that has the same input lag as the Acer according to Rtings.

Supports a high refresh rate of 240 Hz and a rapid response time of 1 ms gray to gray in Extreme mode Note: Any changes that you make are automatically saved. Whenever you move to another menu item, exit the OSD menu, or wait for the OSD menu to automatically close. The VierwSonic XG2431 (i would have to import it from the US) and the Acer 390hz (100 euros more than both of the contenders here in dispute) were also in my shortlist but because of the reasons were taken away. It's definitely more clear than the VG259QM but a little bit worse than the 2546K strictly during strobed motion clarity testings (unstrobed clarity is better on the XV252QF because of 390hz persistence)
